Before we get started I want to emphasize the importance of your environment when trying to relax and truly distress. Stress and pain can sprout from emotion as well, rather than just physical. You will get the best results if you surround yourself with a comforting atmosphere for you to relax. Make sure you are doing the best to stay focused on yourself and how you feel while you distress.
